Tomorrow is Good Friday up here in Canada, which means it's the Easter long weekend. I'm going to visit family that I haven't seen in a long time, and am really looking forward to it. This does mean that I'll be away from my computer for the next three days. No new words for me. Which, in hindsight isn't a bad thing. I'm doing this blog post early because if my luck holds, I'll finish the last 1.5 chapters of Cursed: Dark Divinity. I have about 5hrs before we leave, and given how wildly I've been writing lately, I think I can do it and give myself a well deserved break.
We're driving down, which will give me a chance to catch up on some books I want to read. Mainly, Forever Song by Julie Kagawa and Peacemaker by K.A. Stewart. By the time I'm done those bad boys, it'll be time to get Silver and Salt by Rob Thurman. It's a four story anthology with a Christmas werewolf story, a Fey Western, and two short stories involving characters from her Trickster and Cal Leandros novels. I could only be more excited for this anthology if I knew it would come hand delivered by a shirtless Chris Hemsworth.
Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not going to be thinking about writing. I'm going to be thinking about the plot for my final Cursed novel, consider options for the mini blog series I'm going to do (because like my best friend says, short stories keep you sharp), and I'm going to try getting in an upcoming steampunk anthology.
So with all that in mind, I'm going to get to work. The next blog post will be on Monday. I hope everybody has a great long weekend and does the same thing I plan to do: Relax, and eat chocolate until I explode.
Amy
