Monthly Goals: November

I missed my blog post on Thursday (because, life, and all that), but luckily it's the end of October and I can post about my monthly progress and goals here. October was a great month, though alarmingly hectic near the end. I'm still trying to catch up with all my reviews and formatting and preparing for blog tours. I think I legitimately took on more than I can handle this time, especially since it's that time of year again... More on that later.

This month was still amazing. I got the final cover and promotional art for Dark Divinity, which I absolutely love.

I'm working on setting up pre-orders, though the book can be found on Goodreads at the moment. I'll keep everyone posted as pre-orders become available. I'll be working in the time to do a blog tour/promotional circuit for Dark Divinity. It'll take up a lot more time than I care to think of, but at least it will get done.

Also available right now are the chance to have your ebook signed! I joined Authorgraph and now you can have a digital signature for your copies of Demon's Daughter, Path of the Horseman, and Needfire! Of course, I'll add Dark Divinity to the list once it's released next month. I've done it a few times and hope to do it some more, because let's face it– everyone wants something autographed!

While I spent most of my time working on Storm of the Gods, the third Areios Brothers novel, I'm going to put Derek and Liam on hold for now while I catch up on my edits and begin NaNoWriMo and my new standalone novel, Storm Born. I wrote a post about it here, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited to put my new characters into truly wild situations, and I can't wait to see where they end up. I'm still working on the synopsis, but I'll be sure to update my NaNoWriMo author page as I work through the story.

Other than that, there are no other goals I want to get done this month. Hopefully things will steady out and I won't be overwhelmed as I try to start a new novel. I'm definitely looking forward to it! Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

  1. I love that description of her voice: "a tone that could've poisoned the world."

    1. I'm kind of a fan of it, too. Writers can be fans of their own lines, right?
