My latest short story, Bring Back The Hound from April Moon Books is coming out soon, and the publishers Facebook page posted this a couple weeks ago:
Pretty cool, huh?
Since this snippet has come out and teased you all, I think you're owed a little more background about what to expect when the monster anthology Stomping Grounds comes out. Simply put, Charon and Hermes (who would work together to escort souls to the underworld and across the River Styx) have to put up with each other to re-capture the infamous hellhound, Cerberus.
Cerberus is one of my favorite mythological monsters. I just find him so terrifying and so unique– you can't mistake him with anything else– that he was an easy choice for my monster. After that, all I had to do was a little research and turn loose the hound!
The previous Short Sharp Shocks volume, AMOK! is a fantastic collection of insanity. This one I know will be filled with almost every kind of rampaging monster known to man– and possibly some unknown. Personally, I can't wait to check it out. Who doesn't appreciate a little chaos around the holidays?
Amy
