Got a lot more done than I expected last week! Yes, it was kind of exhausting, what with the thirty blogs I emailed and the dozens of new spotlights, including one on Who She Reads, and the official acceptance of Engineered Deceit, a short story that will be featured in Mocha Memoirs Press's upcoming steampunk horror anthology, Ghosts, Gears, and Grimoires, and will take place in between my Dark Sky prequel novellas, Amber Sky and Smoke Sky. Here's what else I managed to finish last week:
• Finish the plot lines and world building for Agents of Limbo series
• Edit Storm of the Gods and prepare to send it to Beta readers/publishers
• Find more spotlights for Storm Born and Damnation's Door
I'm going to buckle down over the next couple days to finish at least most of the edits for Storm of the Gods, since I really want to have that story prepared for a release next year, whenever that release will be, depending on what publishers say. If it stays in my hands, I'm thinking spring 2017. Yes, yes, I know that's way in advance, but April's almost over, and I like to be ahead of the game. So this is what I'm going to do this week:
• Finish the plot lines and world building for Agents of Limbo series
• Finish editing Storm of the Gods and prepare to send it to Beta readers/publishers
• Finish editing Storm of the Gods and prepare to send it to Beta readers/publishers
Yup, it's crunch time for me. Releases and reviews are coming up for Storm Born, which is also coming up on its release date! Remember, you can find more information on the novel, such as pre-order links, press releases, teasers, and chapter one here!
I'm thinking about starting a giveaway for Storm Born this week, since I have all this glorious swag that I need to give away!
Yes, things are coming together for this writer. I've got to take the time I can now to do the little things, since May is going to swamped for me. You folks have no idea. It's kind of terrifying. Oh well!
Hope everyone has a great start to their week. My weekend is just beginning!
Cheers!
Amy
Looks like you've got a lot of great stuff ahead of you. It's great to see other author friends kick butt in the publishing/writing realm. ;)
